The fair will remain open to visitors from 10am to 7pm each day.
The event aims to promote tourism products and services and expand business opportunities in the tourism sector, according to a press release issued by ATF Chairman Mohiuddin Helal on Wednesday.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat is scheduled to inaugurate the fair. Secretary of the ministry Fahmida Akhter, along with ambassadors and high commissioners from different countries, are also expected to attend the opening ceremony.
More than 200 organisations from Bangladesh and nine other countries will take part in the fair, which will feature around 300 booths.
Hotels, resorts, tour operators, travel agencies, airlines, government and private tourism organisations, and foreign diplomatic missions will showcase their tourism products and services.
The fair will feature three main showcases: Destination Bangladesh Showcase, International Tourism Showcase and Bangladesh Tourism Investment Showcase.
The organisers have also arranged business to business sessions, seminars, destination presentations, panel discussions, product promotions and networking events to facilitate business connections among tourism industry stakeholders.
Cultural performances from Bangladesh, Nepal and the Philippines will be held in the evenings throughout the three-day event.
The organisers said the fair will provide a platform for tourism-related businesses to connect with one another and present destinations and tourism services to local and international visitors.
